Up the Tree

My wife's encouragement over the years has been so important to my growth as a husband, father, and an artist. But she has had her own wish list of subject matter, and when the children were younger they were her wish for my subjects. As for Up the Tree, everyone in Sarnia knows the city's most famous tree, with its far reaching limbs. I think the tree owner must have been used to people taking pictures of his famous tree, he just waved out the window. There after I put my boys through the arduous process of posing in different positions.
